Hygiene
Maintaining a hygienically clean environment is paramount in our work. Knowing the procedures we follow to ensure a safe space for everyone can help you relax during your massage. Below, you’ll find a detailed explanation of what happens before and after your visit.
- At the salon, we change into indoor footwear immediately upon entering. The soft PVC slippers provided are disinfected or wiped with a wet cloth after each use.
- For every massage, a fresh towel is placed on the futon or bed (depending on the room).
- Beneath it, there is a waterproof protector to prevent oil seepage. You always lie on a clean surface—the towel is promptly placed in the laundry after your session.
- The waterproof protector is sprayed with disinfectant and wiped dry.
- Any pillows used during the massage are fitted with fresh covers.
- The headrest cushion is covered with a disposable sheet, which is discarded after the session.
- Footrest cushions are disinfected or replaced with clean ones if soiled with oil.
- We sometimes use additional tools like rabbit mitts, feathers, brushes, heating bottles, etc.
- These are disinfected after each use or washed if the material permits.
- Over time, depending on usage frequency and the type of tool, they are replaced with new ones.
- Specialized items for BDSM Tantra, such as dildos, rings, floggers, ropes, and more, are handled with the same care.
- Certain items (e.g., dildos, rings) are first cleaned under running water with disinfectant soap, then sprayed with disinfectant. Alternatively, they may be used with a condom, which is discarded after the session.
- For work in the anal area, we always use surgical gloves, ensuring a seamless continuation of the massage after their removal. For vaginal massage, clients can choose whether gloves are used. The masseuse’s hands are always clean and washed before starting the therapy.
- We use jojoba oil (neutral and unscented), virgin coconut oil (for intimate areas), or lubricating gel (for anal massage). These are stored in the refrigerator and warmed to the appropriate temperature using bottle warmers, which are cleaned weekly or as needed.
- Towels in the shower area are replaced with fresh ones after each use. Used towels are either placed in the laundry basket or dried first (especially wet ones) to prevent odors.
- All laundry is taken off-site and washed at 90°C with a cup of vinegar. We avoid fabric softeners or allergenic products, using only detergent. Except for sarongs, all items are dried in a dryer. Sarongs are air-dried on racks or radiators.
- After each visit, the shower area is cleaned of hair, lint, soap residue, etc.
- The floor is wiped, mats are dried on radiators, and mirrors, sinks, and countertops are polished as needed.
- In the bathroom, besides standard toiletries such as shower gels, shampoos, and deodorants, we provide disposable toothbrushes, dental floss, contact lens cases, sewing kits, dry shampoo, hair spray, and more. Items are either disposable or stored in a way that prevents contamination.
- In the dressing room, floors are mopped, and used robes are placed in the laundry. Mirrors are polished, and lockers are checked for any forgotten items, which we promptly return to their owners.
- We mop the floors throughout the salon after each visit, paying special attention to areas with oily footprints or shoe marks. Door handles and toilet seats are also disinfected regularly, especially due to the use of oils during massages.
- We sort waste into glass, plastic, paper, and general waste. Small bins for general waste are located in the dressing room, restroom, and hallways, ensuring they are emptied frequently.
- A more thorough cleaning of the entire salon is done weekly, or as needed, between appointments. This includes wiping furniture surfaces, vacuuming and washing floors, cleaning drains in the shower (to address oil and hair build-up), and polishing stainless steel and glass surfaces. Curtains and blinds are washed several times a year.
- Sheets under massage towels, kitchen cloths, and hand towels are cleaned monthly or more often if necessary.
- The salon is illuminated by candles of various sizes, and we ensure safety with a fire extinguisher spray located near the entrance.
- Since the salon sometimes accommodates multiple clients (we have two massage rooms), each room and the restroom are equipped with individual locks to prevent accidental interruptions. For added peace of mind, lockers in the dressing room are secured with padlocks, allowing you to keep your belongings safe during your massage
